Delicious dango at an amazing price. The mitarashi is a classic - salty, sweet, and weirdly addictive. They were unlike anything I have ever tasted, but I’m a convert after trying them. The mugwort is herbaceous with the anko to provide a bit of sweet pop and some texture. Elegance and flavour for ~$2 a skewer - don’t miss it.

This is famous for Japanese sweets, people are visiting this place also for shaved ice. However they are famous for dango and anmitsu.

Omg the queue was crazy when I was there. But it was worth it! Do take note that the queue for the in-house cafe/kissa is separate from the takeout queue. Don’t hold back, get a bit of everything like I did! The shaved ice was great as the brown sugar syrup tasted real good.

Must try if you are in Shinjuku! You can actually eat inside if you don’t want to takeaway. Just take note it will be very crowded especially during tea time! But it’s worth it! Highly recommend!

Still the best place to pick up dango (mitarashi is my fav) en route to go see your friends outside of shinjuku!

I’ve been to this dango shop at least 10 times over the years. Dango are always perfect. Always go for their kakigori (shaved ice) during summer. I will always go back for more.

Real Dango is here!! So soft texture of rice ball with delicious source. I love it! Green tea also good. Many people take Crushed ice with red bean paste or tea powder too. Lots of traditional rice cake they have and look so nice.
